Green salad with blue berries, apples green peppers and walnuts with no oil, just lemon juice and Mrs. Dash; my take along Dinner in West Palm Beach. I flew all the way to Florida day after yesterday and on my 14 hour layover I was thinking I would workout for at least 60 minutes in the gym, and sit in the sun for a while and then early to bed for an early 5 a.m .show the next morning. Well, I ended up eating great all day; oatmeal for breakfast apples and sugar-free all natural peanut butter for lunch, a banana and plain almonds for a snacks, all said and done a perfect 1200 calories in my quest to dump my 8 pound weight gain.
The gym and pool never happened. I did an exercise band workout in my room, (see below) 100 jumping jacks and then fell asleep. Since I had to get up at 2:30 a.m. that morning to make it to the airport at 5 am I was tired. The following morning I did 20 push ups and then 20 squats while brushing my teeth. Some days I have more energy than others and somedays a girl has to go to bed with reduced standards. Full of green salad and green with envy for those who don’t have to work for a living, those who have professional home gyms, rich husbands, live in cooks and personal trainers. Since I last checked I’m my own personal trainer, cook, motivator and bank account… and some days honestly, I just don’t get my moneys worth! Until next time!
